A number of lanes in Westmount are too narrow for collections trucks to pass, and thus are deemed inaccessible. Previously, collections were done by foot in these lanes, whereas now it will be done street side instead. The lanes affected by this change are the following:
- Between Lewis and Irvine
- Between Irvine and Abbott
- All lanes accessible by Ingleside
- Between Somerville and Burton, accessible by Prince Albert
- Between Burton and De Maisonneuve, access via Prince Albert
- Between Lorraine and Chesterfield, accessible by Claremont
- Between upper Roslyn and Grosvenor
- Between Blenheim and Bethune
- North of Springfield, the portion parallel to Metcalfe
