SUMMARY:Survey on the Temporary Public Spaces
DESCRIPTION:Temporary public spaces sprang up in Westmount in the summer of 2020 in response to the Covid 19 pandemic. Confinement\, physical distancing\, and the closure of dining and retail spaces contributed to an increased need for public space. In 2022\, the City would like to survey the community to assess how well the temporary public space projects are meeting the needs of the public. \nThose spaces are the public terraces on Sherbrooke St at the corners of Victoria Ave and Prince-Albert and the pedestrian areas on Greene Ave (between Sherbrooke and St-Catherine) and on De Maisonneuve Blvd (between Atwater and Wood). \nWestmount merchants and businesses in Westmount will also be consulted in a separate survey on the same topic in September. \nTake a few minutes of your time (6-7) and help the City assess whether these spaces meet the needs of the public and whether any changes or improvements are required. \nTAKE THE SURVEY
